Entry Requirements

National Diploma (ND) in Building Technology

Applicants must have obtained at least the minimum required score in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and five (5) credit passes at not more than two sittings in any of the following examinations:
SSCE, WASSCE, NECO, NTC, GCE O’ Level or WASC.

The required subjects include:

• English Language
• Mathematics
• Physics
• Any other two subjects from the following:
  • Chemistry
  • Metal Work
  • Wood Work
  • Technical Drawing
  • Basic Electricity
  • Economics
  • Statistics
  • Further Mathematics
  • Building Construction
  • Block Laying
  • Agricultural Science / Biology
  • Geography
  • Fine Arts
  • Computer Studies
  • Painting and Decoration

Higher National Diploma (HND) in Building Technology

Applicants may be considered for direct admission if they meet any of the following:

• Possession of a National Diploma (ND) in Building Technology with a minimum of Lower Credit pass
• Completion of a minimum of one-year post-ND industrial training/work experience in a building or construction-related industry
• Candidates with ND at Pass level must have at least two years post-ND industrial training/work experience in a relevant field
